About us

In describing the abdomen-waggling dance that a bee does to tell her hivemates about a nectar or pollen find. The dance give the distance, size, and a map with sun-relative bearings. It was named the "Schwänzeltanz" ("little-tail dance") by von Frisch, the scientist who figured it out. It got into English as "waggledance".

The "bees" at Waggledance, Inc are developing a new way to waggle currents in wires for high-speed communication.

The company was founded in July 2008 as a soft IP developer and "fabless" chip manufacturer. That is, the actual chips will be produced to our designs (soft IP) by one or more outside foundries.

We are a Wisconsin C-corporation, pre-revenue, with very small private funding. Founder and GM for Development David Zethmayr is the inventor of relational signaling.
